That’s a wrap! Our 2022 Health and Wellness Survey officially closed on November 30th. Thank you to everyone who completed the survey; we received nearly 4,000 responses from across Chester County.
We are very excited to share the results of the survey in the coming months. Your feedback will be featured in our 2023 Community Health Assessment (CHA). In addition to laying out our key priorities for the coming years, the CHA will also highlight interesting demographic, social, and health trends throughout Chester County. The assessment helps the Health Department understand important health issues in Chester County and will guide the development of our Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP).
Our improvement plan will be the result of a collaborative effort with our Steering Committee, made up of staff from several different teams in the Health Department, as well as community stakeholders. The plan will outline strategies to improve the health of Chester County residents over the next five years.
If you are as excited as us about our Community Health Assessment and Improvement Plans, stay connected! We’ll post updates here, on social media, and on Chesco.org/Health. We expect to publish our Community Health Assessment in February and release our Community Health Improvement plan in Spring 2023.
